Interactive agency + Marketing agency = Two Colours

About the project

Our task was to design an attractive and functional website for the El Sol dance festival, offering the opportunity to purchase passes. In creating the site, we focused on conveying the joyful atmosphere that characterizes the festival, and on highlighting the benefits of participating in the event.

The El Sol Festival is a multi-day event that attracts dancers from all corners of the world. Our priority was to create a platform that allows potential attendees to explore all information about the events, artists, as well as available passes and tickets.

Prototype

Prototype - mockup of a website for a dance festival

In the initial stages of developing a website for the El Sol festival, our priority was to create a prototype, often referred to as a mockup of the site. This stage included the development of a preliminary visual concept, showing the main layout of the site, before the actual design work began.

In this process, we use tools such as Figma and Miro, which allow us to visually represent the site architecture at a very early stage. This allows us to effectively communicate with clients and adapt our ideas.

Our goal in designing the festival's website was to create a space that not only encouraged the purchase of tickets, but was also a source of information for visitors. We tried to make it easy for users to find information about festival events, artists and passes. We used a variety of forms to present the content, from photographs provided by the client to specially prepared videos designed to convey the atmosphere of the festival.

We put a lot of emphasis on constant communication with customers during prototyping. After this stage was completed, we organized a video call where we presented our solutions and gave clear instructions on how the customer can give us feedback and comments.

Graphic design

When implementing graphic design for the dance festival's website, our main goal was to convey the cheerful atmosphere of the festival and highlight the advantages of participating in it. Visually, the site is characterized by dominant shades of purple and orange, which gives it a consistent and interesting look. Graphic elements in these colors adorn each section of the site.

Homepage elsol festival

In the hero section of the homepage, visitors are immediately immersed in the atmosphere of the festival thanks to a professional background video showing scenes from previous editions. Below the main header is an information bar with the exact date and location of the festival, complete with a dynamic countdown of the days, hours and even seconds until its start.

The site is enriched with professional photos from past events that adorn each section. Various dance styles, artists and specific events are described in detail, each with dedicated custom posts. The user can also search for specific events and artists thanks to an implemented filter, making it easy to navigate and access information.

The site is a compendium of knowledge about the festival, providing all the necessary information the user is looking for. In addition, we have included information about the people responsible for organizing the festival along with their contact information in the contact tab. This allows visitors to see the real faces of the behind the event, which builds a greater sense of trust in the company.

Implementation

Coding the website

In the process of creating the festival website, a key element was its encoding. For this we used Page Builder Elementor, a tool that is becoming increasingly popular because of its dynamism and ease of use. Elementor not only provides intuitiveness, but also allows you to make changes to the page content yourself.

When the project was completed, our clients were able to customize their site themselves, giving them full control and independence, without the need for ongoing cooperation with an agency.

During the coding stage of the site, we implemented the features we had planned in advance to make the site more attractive to users and increase its business value.

Pass purchase form

Each festival pass and ticket is available for purchase through a dedicated form. Users can select the currency of purchase and specify the number of attendees, making the purchase process simple and enjoyable.

Accommodation booking form

Users going to the festival can secure accommodation without worry by purchasing it directly from the festival website. There is a dedicated form for this purpose, where you can select the number of nights, dates, room type and preferred payment currency.

Contact form

We have implemented a simple contact form on the site, which allows easy and quick contact with the organizers.
