We began designing an online store for Mimay by developing an initial concept for the site -. prototypeAt this initial stage, all our attention was focused on creating a basic sketch of the site and identifying its key elements and sections, Even before we started working on the detailed graphic design.

Using tools i.e. like Figma and Miro, we create an environment where project teams and clients can jointly observe and discuss the structure of the site from the very first versions. With this approach, communication is more effective, and making changes becomes easier and more flexible.

From the very beginning, we plan the layout of all elements of the site, including various sections, text, graphic elements, multimedia and CTA buttons to ensure intuitiveness and usability at each stage of the prospective user's navigation.

Online store graphic design

We started working on the graphic design of the online store for the Mimay brand with full awareness of the relevance and delicacy of the topic, which is menstrual underwear for women. From the very beginning, it was clear to us that the site had to be both functional and beautiful to reflect the brand's values.

The aesthetics of the site are a harmonious combination of pastel shades of pink, purple, cream and white, which subtly but vividly convey the delicacy and intimacy of the topic of menstruation. The site's minimalist design provides the perfect backdrop for the black, graphic elements, messages and CTA buttons, which firmly but still unobtrusively attract attention.

The hero section of the store is expressive, but not intrusive. There are bright colors in the background, a prominent CTA button in the foreground, and an image of the creator of the Mimay brand, who is passionate and committed to sharing her vision and products with women. Information about the possibility of return and free delivery is prominently displayed in a bar at the very top of the page to immediately reassure customers about the safety and convenience of shopping.

We made sure that every element of the site was carefully considered. Instead of a wall of text, users will find well-arranged and attractively presented information, enhanced with icons, photos and other graphic elements. We understand that proper presentation of content is crucial to the comfort and satisfaction of female customers.

The product range is presented in a clear and attractive way. Any woman can quickly and easily find what she needs, plus immerse herself in the educational content found on the blog. The blog, equipped with a search engine, provides a platform for author Mimay to share her knowledge, experience and inspiration.

The "how does it work?" section is where interested customers will find detailed product information. As Mimay menstrual underwear is still an innovative solution, we wanted to dispel any doubts and answer questions, providing comfort and confidence in the purchase.

An "about us" section with a description of the brand's experience, mission and vision builds trust, while a ubiquitous image of the product creator emphasizes the brand's authenticity and individuality.

Implementation

Coding an online store

When creating an online store for the Mimay brand, an important step was its implementation using the Elementor program. It is a tool that allows intuitive modeling of the site's appearance. Once the work is finalized, the client has the freedom to make independent changes to the content of the site, avoiding the need to involve an agency.

During the coding process, we integrated previously prepared functionalities that made the site not only aesthetically pleasing, but also fulfilled the stated business goals.

E-commerce module

This is the functionality that transforms the site into a full-fledged online store, allowing customers to browse the assortment and place products in the shopping cart. We have integrated quick login options using a Facebook or Google account. Moreover, integration with payment gateways offers a variety of options, such as Blik, PayPo or classic bank transfer.

Contact form

Located in the "contact" tab, a simple and clear form makes it easy for customers to communicate with the company.

Newsletter subscription form

We have added a feature that allows visitors to sign up for a mailing database. This is a key step in forming relationships with potential customers. In exchange for providing an email address, these individuals receive a special promotion to get started.
